Support Needed!

God has done so much in mine and LeeAnne's life together in the past 18 months. It has been so awesome to see God grow us closer to Him, and in turn grow us closer together. God has pressed upon our hearts something specific that I believe He desires for us to do together.

On July 29th, our church home, Fellowship Baptist Church, is going to Belize, Central America to teach at a family camp. The team will return August 5th. God has burdened both LeeAnne and I that this mission trip is for us. We both have spent much time in prayer and study for confirmation from His Holy Spirit, and have full confidence that God has this Belize trip in His will for our lives.

As you know, these trips cost money. I struggle to say, “Unfortunately,” because God causes us to step out on faith and trust that He will provide the means and the way if we just surrender to His will and say “Send me.”LeeAnne and I have surrendered, and given God our “yes”.

The cost of the entire trip is $1200 per person. We must have $800 each by July 1st in order to get plane tickets purchased before the price significantly increases. I know money to God is nothing; He holds the whole world in His hands. I also know that God uses His Spirit to burden others to be a part of His will in others' lives with faithful monetary giving and prayer.

Please prayerfully consider partnering with us financially with a tax-deductible gift. If you are unable to give, we ask that you pray for us over the next two months as we prepare for our trip. We know in our spirit that God has called us to go to Belize to preach the gospel and love on the people of Belize. What part do you play?

This blog is intended to give people a place to check back on our progress leading up to the trip, and the trip itself.
